In 2015, we started the workshop series (Towards Intelligent Social Robots) focusing on different aspects of cognitive robotics research. The theme of the workshop changes every year so as to guarantee discussing different cutting-edge topics at the intersection of social, cognitive, and developmental robotics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence through the proceedings of the workshop and the associated journal special issues. The list of the previous workshops includes:
- Towards Intelligent Social Robots: Trustworthy Human-Centered AI under Uncertainty, in conjunction with the International Conference on Robotics: Science and Systems (RSS) – 2021 [Link].
- Towards Intelligent Social Robots: From Naive Robots to Robot Sapiens, in conjunction with the IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) – Madrid – Spain – 2018 [Home][Program][Organizers][Speakers][Materials].
- Towards Intelligent Social Robots: Social Cognitive Systems in Smart Environments, in conjunction with the 26th IEEE International Symposium on Robot and Human Interactive Communication (RO-MAN) – Lisbon – Portugal – 2017 [Home] [Organizers] [Speakers] [Materials] [Journal SI].
- Towards Intelligent Social Robots: Current Advances in Cognitive Robotics, in conjunction with the 15th IEEE-RAS International Conference on Humanoid Robots (Humanoids) – Seoul – South Korea – 2015 [Link].
